In late 2013, Duck Pond partnered with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Conservation Program to help promote their mission of ensuring healthy habitats for fish, wildlife and people. In addition to hosting the annual Habitat Conservation Stamp Art Show at the winery (in which the winning artwork for the Habitat Conservation Stamp
is chosen), the family crafted a special blend of Pinot Noir from their various Oregon vineyard sites, called Conservation Cuvee.
Each lot of Conservation Cuvee features a different species of wildlife artwork on the label; this limited-production wine is available only at Duck Pond and via its website. For each bottle sold, Duck Pond donates $5 to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Conservation Program
Conservation Cuvee - Lot 1 is currently sold out. Conservation Cuvee - Lot 2
was released in November 2014 and is now available for purchase. This unique blend of Oregon Pinot Noir from our family's estate vineyards features the Western Painted Turtle on its label.
To date, we have donated $13,240 through this program.
