"The overall balance and underlying minerality in this wine are a good start, indicating a wine that is built to last. There's a delicate aspect to the brambly fruit, plus hidden seams of lemon curd and salted caramel. Drink 2022–2032. CELLAR SELECTION"
"Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir Back Yard has a lovely nose of blue and red berries with an earthy/savory core with notes of dried leaves, fresh tobacco, cola, nutmeg and cardamom. Light to medium-bodied, the palate features layers of ripe, luscious red and blue fruits with wonderful spicy accents, framed by grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long with sweet earth nuances. 217 cases produced."
